In December to celebrate our partnership with the Mandell JCC, we are sharing children’s books about Hannukah chosen from their reading list.

Hannukah, also spelled Chanukah is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime  “festival of lights,” celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers, and fried foods, such as jelly donuts.

To celebrate reading today, and every day, we’ve brought a Little Free Library to The Shops at Farmington Valley. We’ll regularly be stocking it with some of our favorite books for all ages, and encourage you to swing by and grab a new read or donate an old favorite.

The Little Free Library is located between Bodyfit Physical Therapy and Purebarre Canton.

We believe in inclusivity and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. No matter who you are or what you believe in, you are welcome here, and hope you enjoy our selection of books celebrating diversity, and inclusion and written by minority & LGBTQ+ authors.
