TogetHER is The Shops at Farmington Valley’s first philanthropic initiative for female empowerment and equality. Industry leaders and change makers will unite at the event to honor women’s economic, cultural, and design achievements.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, March 6, from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a night of conversation and inspiration as we celebrate International Women’s Day with women who are n changing the game and fighting for a brighter future women’s.

Where: Anastasio Home at The Shops at Farmington Valley, 110 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT 06019

Mix + Mingle | Sips + Nibbles: 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm  

  • Mix + Mingle as you experience interactive tabling and displays from some of your favorite shops at Farmington Valley Businesses, including local pop-up shop Ally. Bea, Leather Artisan and Designer, Carolyn Mackenzie, and Flower Bar by Angie to craft your bouquet.
  • Sip on a signature cocktail (or mocktail) or enjoy your favorite drink at the With A Splash bar. All guests will receive two drink tickets upon check-in.
  • Snack on flatbreads, charcuterie, fresh fruits, and more as you mingle
  • Sample treats from Nutmeg Sweet Shoppe

Raffles: Guests will receive four tickets that can be used for a chance to win fabulous prizes donated by AG Design, Carolyn Mackenzie, Ally.Bea, Designer sunglasses from Harvey + Lewis, and more!

Panel Discussion:  7:00 – 8:00 pm 

  • Following an eclectic and energetic cocktail and networking session, attendees will participate in a lively and empowering panel discussion with women from diverse backgrounds from the Hartford Area.
  • NBC30 CT Taylor Kinsler will moderate the panel, and panelists will respond to questions that prompt how to embrace equity, eliminate stereotypes, and work toward equality in our industries and communities.
  • Panelists: Stephanie Waldron (Market Hospitality Group), Evelyn Johnson,  Assistant General Counsel, The Hartford, Gabriela Holloway Anastasio (Founder of Anastasio Home) Julie Sherman Wolfe (writer for television and film, including 26 Hallmark films). 

Tickets 

  • Tickets are $45, and all proceeds will go to The Junior League of Hartford., a CT- based non-profit organization that develops women as civic leaders in our local community.
  • Tickets are required and must be purchased ahead of time on Eventbrite.
