Cooking Class Description: Create an extraordinary holiday dessert that’s equally beautiful and delicious. In this three-hour class, we’ll teach you how to create Bûche de Noël—a traditional Christmas Yule log cake. You’ll learn to make this intricate cake from scratch, starting with making the sponge cake and an Italian mocha buttercream, then learning how to assemble it. To finish, we’ll make marzipan pinecones and sugared cranberries to decorate your log cake. By the end of class, you’ll go home with a special cake to bring to your holiday gathering.
